Specialty General Liability coverage designed for and by Contractors. Most classes are eligible (see ineligible list below), whether they are Residential or Commercial GCs or subs. Tract housing and apartment projects are acceptable. Approved in all states except New York.

PBSIC, RRG is a risk retention group, created in 2001 and now domiciled in Washington DC. The company is "A" (Exceptional) rated by Demotech, Inc., but is not Best Rated.
We have two programs available (both pay 10% commission to retail agent):
- Artisan/Small Contractor Program - Minimum premium is only $1,200 plus fees & taxes.
- Regular Program - Minimum premium is only $3,000 plus fees & taxes. This includes all contractor classes except those on ineligible list above & roofers. Roofer minimum premium is $11,000.
We require our own application be completed (don't send ACORDs) and current valued hard copy loss reports for five years are required if applicable. In some cases a "no loss letter" is acceptable.
For contractors who are new in business or in business three years or less, resumes that provide details on construction and management experience are mandatory.
Typically, we can provide quotes within 2-3 days, but in a crunch can turn them around to you within 24 hours with a fully completed submission. We prefer submissions via email but fax is also acceptable.
Quotations will be delivered to you via e-mail as a Microsoft Word document in a very comprehensive proposal format that provides detail on coverages, exclusions, & limitations, and can be printed on your own letterhead for presentation to your client.
