Jennie began her insurance industry career in 1988 with Consolidated Insurance Adjusters as secretary and claims coordinator for this independent insurance claims adjusting firm. Her skills and ability to handle a heavy work load soon earned her a promotion to Office Manager. Still not content Ms. Meyers became licensed as a Claims Adjuster. She then became part owner and Vice President of the firm, managing the Lake Havasu Office and two branch offices and ultimately became the sole owner and President.
Ms. Meyers' claims adjusting experience included the actual settling of all types of losses covering virtually all phases of property, liability and auto. She and her firm handled all liability losses for several casinos in Laughlin, NV.
During her years with Consolidated Insurance Adjusters, AJS entered into a unique contract agreement with Ms. Meyers in which Consolidated became the Claims Department for AJS. This was accomplished by installing a direct computer link between the two offices. This worked so well that AJS became her biggest client, so big in fact that a decision was made to close Consolidated and Jennie began full time employment with AJS as Claims Specialist in February 1994.
She has recently earned the professional designation of Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) by successfully completing rigorous training and testing covering both commercial and personal insurance technical coverages. She has also completed two management courses through our local Mohave Community College.
Jennie is now Commercial Lines & Claims Manager overseeing a staff of eight (8) people for the day to day work flow of our Commercial Department including all CSR and Claims functions. In 1999, Jennie was promoted to Vice Present, Commercial Lines and Claims.
Jennie's vast experience as a Claims Adjuster brings broad and unique expertise to AJS' claims department. She is involved and oversees all claims activity for AJS. Jennie has claims draft authority with many of the insurers and adjusts or settles numerous claims on their behalf.
She is a licensed Arizona Claims Adjuster which confers a great deal of credibility and authority with many insurance carriers. Jennie is also an Arizona resident licensed agent for Property and Casualty.
