Mr. Kollars started his full time career in the life, medical and pension area with the John Hancock Life Insurance Company on March 1, 1970 in Omaha, NE. Gary was 'Rookie of the Year' for the John Hancock General Agency. In 1972 and 1973 he was the instructor for all new agents on product knowledge, salesmanship and client services. In 1974 Gary was named 'Nebraska General Agency Manager of the Year', an award given by the Lincoln Life Insurance Manager Association for outstanding supervision and management within the insurance field in Nebraska.
Mr. Kollars joined AJS in 1975 in the role of Life, Health and Employee Benefits Manager. He brought with him seven (7) years of part and full time insurance industry experience giving him a total of thirty (30) years within the industry.
Gary is well versed and has been actively involved in all aspects of the life and health industry including group and individual medical, dental, vision, disability, annuities, pension or retirement, 401K, and IRA. His experience includes strong working knowledge of the managed care products including HMOs and PPOs. His insurance technical training includes Life Underwriting Training Council (LUTC), Supervision, Managerial, and Pension/Profit Sharing courses.
Mr. Kollars oversees the marketing, underwriting, placing and pricing functions for most all AJS life and health accounts, new and renewal, to the various insurance carriers. He would oversee and be actively involved with the actual enrollment procedures and consultation with employees and management staff. Gary would also provide any other assistance as needed or required by Your Firm with the administration of their employee benefit program.
Gary is properly licensed in the State of Arizona as Agent for Life & Health, Property & Casualty, Variable Contracts, and National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD).
