Lanie began her insurance career in 1975 with Mohave Valley Insurance. AJS Insurance subsequently purchased Mohave Valley Insurance in 1977. Ms. Glick’s position included various office duties including accounting and sales and service of commercial and personal insurance. She subsequently assisted in the opening and administration of two other branch offices in Bullhead City, AZ and Needles, CA.
She thereafter went to work in the Home Office of AJS Insurance in 1980 and she and her family relocated to Lake Havasu City in 1981.
Lanie has been actively involved in personal lines, commercial lines and life and health, and holds an Arizona Property and Casualty insurance license. However, her main focus was in the accounting and Management Information System, which led to the position of Controller. She assisted in or managed the installation and implementation of three different agency management systems using five different hardware/software platforms for operation. These tasks required knowledge and skill levels in the IBM, Microsoft and Novell operation systems.
Ms. Glick was the catalyst in the formation of one of the nations largest Insurance Agency Automated Management System users groups. As a result, she became main liaison for the user group and served on the National Advisory Council acting as a board member for six years.
Her broad-based knowledge of the Independent Agency System lends well to general administration and supervision of the agency. She served as Vice President for two years and in 1999 was made Senior Vice President, CFO, and Agency Manager of AJS Insurance Services, Inc.
