Jerry graduated in 1972 from the University of Nebraska with a degree in economics. He spent the next 18 years in banking, the last 5 years as president of a suburban Kansas City bank. Jerry moved to Lake Havasu City in 1990 and began his insurance career at Bourne & Gale Insurance as Vice President and principal, assisting commercial clients with their insurance needs and providing financial products to individual and commercial customers.
Jerry became a Senior Vice President and principal when Bourne & Gale merged with AJS Insurance Services Inc. in November of 2000. He is now the manager of the newly formed Financial Services Division of AJS. This Division provides a full array of life and health insurance services for both the individual and commercial client and is now able to provide financial planning and investment products for these same clients.
Jerry is licensed for life and health insurance in the states of Arizona, California and Nevada. He also holds a Series 7 General Securities License in Arizona. His professional designations include AAI (Accredited Advisor of Insurance), LUTCF (Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow), CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor), and ChFC (Chartered Financial Consultant).
