Cherie Bentley was born in New York State and moved with her family to California in the early 60's. She attended high school in El Monte, CA. After high school she moved to Utah for a brief time with family.
Back in California she worked at Pup and Taco, a California chain of fast food restaurants, at the counter and doing prep work in the kitchen while she raised her two children.
Some years later she was married and started her own day care center. Also, Cherie was involved in the business end of running a family restaurant/night club in La Mirada, CA, owned by her and her husband.
In 1995 Cherie and her family moved to Lake Havasu City to be near other family members and successfully continued with her day care center. When the position of File Clerk became available in early 2004 Cherie was employed to fill that position. She served in that capacity for a few months and then took over as the Receptionist.
